SEA-STRUCT are preparing for another round of SEAMAT manufacture in New Plymouth followed by a grouting scope on the Pohokura pipeline later this month.

During December SEA-STRUCT successfully completed a test program focusing on its customized grouting products. Over a 5 day period the SS team conducted onshore testing, at its Perth facilities, of the proposed solutions for each scenario covered in the scope of works. SENZL representative John Rountree travelled to Perth to witness the testing.

SENZL awarded the mattress component of the scope of works to SEA-STRUCT in January with them also conducting the grouting works onboard the DOF Subsea vessel Geobay. A quantity of approximately 200 Groutsticks and 150 GROUTMAT mattresses shall be installed along the Pohokura 2” CT Line.

Works are expected to commence onsite in New Plymouth from the second week in February.
